Live Session Work

If you’re an artist who needs a drummer for a tour then I can quickly learn songs both to a click/track and fully live. Rehearsal time is valuable so I always learn the material ahead of time and come prepared and ready to play at rehearsal. I also have the Roland SPD-SX Pro to run tracks, click, samples and triggers at live shows.

I spent a few years working in the pit on cruise ships playing production shows and backing up entertainment shows. Strong reading skills are essential for any pit work and I’m comfortable sight reading drum notation. I play tuned percussion and even have a Pearl Malletstation I can bring to the gig along with all my drum gear.

After college and ships I jumped on to the Scottish circuit so I know a tonne of standard cover band tunes! I use an iPad with forScore to follow charts and can sight read charts as well as playing by ear.
